TPC pipettes are manufactured by scientists who have been involved with reproductive medicine and mircomanipulation techniques for many years. Special Design features include:
Long, sharp spikes on injection pipettes can lead to increased rates of oocyte lysis. TPC injection pipettes have a precision engineered sharp-blunt spike which penetrates the zona pellucida easly but does not tear the oolemma.
TPC holding pipettes are designed with a larger outer diameter and a proportionately larger inner diameter. This provides better support for the oocyte or embryo and reduces sidtortion during manipulation.
THE RANGE
Pipettes are available for all micromanipulation techniques, including intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), embryo biopsy and assisted hatching. Should our stock pipettes not suit your requirements, we can custom manufacture pipettes to your exact specifications.
ULTRACLEAN MANUFACTURING
All manufacturing is carried out in a cleanroom which is certified to Class 350 (AS1386). The cleanroom undergoes regular microbiological screening. Pipettes are manufactured from borosilicate glass capillaries that have been sonicated in mild ure water and then treated at 200°C.
The result : ultraclean pipettes that stay cleaner for longer and require fewer changeovers .
CONVENIENCE
Pipettes are single packed and gamma sterilised, ready for use. Each pipette is packed in a protective holder, and holders are colour coded for easy identification of different types of pipettes. Pipettes are sold in multiples of 10.
QUALITY CONTROL
Each batch of pipettes is independently tested for embryo cytotoxicity using a validated mouse one cell to expanded blastocyst development assay. The ultrapure water used for cleaning capillaries and rinsing pipettes is regularly tested for bacteria and endotoxins.
